The Fritz family’s small farm is not located far from the hotel. In a responsible and sustainable manner, sheep, and pigs are reared and the superb meat is refined into culinary delicacies in the hotel kitchen. During hunting season, Engelbert Fritz exchanges his chef’s apron for the so-called “Weidmannstracht” (a traditional costume for huntsmen).

By using meat from our own hunts and relying on years of experience in food processing we can minimize transport distances and realize a greener as well as more sustainable, but above all local, approach.
