Regulations from 8 November 2021:

  • Where 3-G previously applied, the 2-G rule ("vaccinated, recovered") will apply from Monday, including: Accommodation establishments, catering establishments, leisure and sports establishments, cultural establishments, cable cars and at events with 25 or more people.
  • Corona tests of any kind (both PCR and antigen tests) are no longer permitted as proof of entry.
  • Wearing an FFP-2 mask is mandatory in trade and museums.
  • The validity of vaccination certificates is reduced to nine months from full immunisation (previously 12 months). After that, a further dose (usually the third) is required for a valid certificate. For people who have been vaccinated with Johnson&Johnson, the certificate is only valid until 3.1.2022, if no second vaccination is available.
  • During a transitional period of four weeks, the first vaccination in combination with a PCR test is valid as proof of entry.
  • Children under the age of twelve are currently exempt from the obligation to present proof of entry. This regulation will also apply in the future. A practicable regulation is being worked on for minors over the age of twelve.
